Very happy to have been invited to present a preview of “The Idol” at Puppetmongers Theatre’s mini-conference Fresh Ideas!
This year’s Fresh Ideas is to be an online event, so a great chance for all of us outside the Toronto region to be part of it. There will be a series of presentations in the afternoon, and an evening cabaret with performances and screenings, including The Idol.
“The Idol” is a live action puppet short film based on the story of Pygmalion and using a set and puppets made from recycled cardboard, and filmed in a home-made miniature film studio. It is a work-in-progress; the screening at Fresh Ideas will be an incomplete preview.
