Before moving to Canada, Kris performed with several Belgian companies as well as a French one and toured Belgium and The Netherlands as an actor in a children’s theatre production. He also directed plays, worked as a dramaturg, facilitated theatre workshops for children, and used drama in schools as an ESL learning tool and to foster creativity in high school students. He designed sets, created soundtracks and wrote a master’s thesis that explored liminality in contemporary puppet and object theatre.
